Here is a project that involved Maple and Cherry.  The door panels on the lower cabinets match the front of the bar in design.  The door and panel are a Shaker style, flat panels with square stickin.  A clear finish shows the contrast between the two species.

This is the upper back section of the bar.  Maple backs brighten the cabinet with Cherry frames and a Maple bead to trim out the openings and finish off the details.  The left hand side is missing the bottle shelves that the other openings have so that the microwave will slide in.
In the foreground on the ceiling you will see the future stemware holders, custom run Maple with a Cherry inlay down the center for detail and also to hide the fastners.

This is the Bar front with the same Shaker style flat panels.  The custom brackets are cut out of maple using a craftsman design, they were placed over the vertical rails and are plenty strong to hold up the stone top and drinks.

Here is the finished product with a clear coat on it, load it up and you are ready for a party!
